March 21, 2018: More Florida Jets

Another trip to Lakeland Airport for more jet aircraft competition.  There were high gusts of wind - consequently I saw only 3 flights.  Some used smoke to highlight their flight pattern.  It was fun!!!

I've seen lots of model airplanes - but always propeller driven.  What a surprise to discover that there are model jet aircraft - usually patterned after fighter aircraft.   At Lakeland airport is a special runway for model aircraft and from time to time there is a competition for flyers around the world.  I took lots of photos.  Here are some
